Wow! Has it been 20 years since I joined this amazing community?

I remember stumbling across Newgrounds as I was trying to learn Flash for a website I was creating.

Titles like Blundercats, Street Life, Dragonball Wassup, and Cooties Bar ruled the Portal, an automated showcase for amateur-created content years before YouTube, Vine, or (checks notes) TikTok.

So much has happened in this world in the past two decades, and Newgrounds has been right there with us. I am honored and grateful to be considered part of its early history.

I look forward to spending the next 20 with my old friend Tom and the wonderful contributors of NG. Keep creating and keep submitting!

Your Star Wars parodies and Britney Spears dressup were on y8 back when y8 years ago would put Newgrounds content on their site without checking to see if they're age-appropriate lol. Good times. To think it's been 20 years since you made an account is crazy though O_o. You might literally be twice or three times my age. Cool.

@xxxLumierexxx @tormented-soul At my elementary school, we used to try to see who could get away with watching and playing obscene Newgrounds and y8 games when the computer teacher wasn't looking. I remember your Britney Spears one because a classmate got caught in like 4th grade playing it and they blocked Newgrounds for a few months lol.

@xxxLumierexxx @tormented-soul @tormented-soul You can also add "got school to establish a 'lunch detention for playing games before finishing computer class work'" on your resume LOL. I myself got 3 of them because I kept playing Papa Pizzera over doing terrible MSPaint drawings.
