Some of the old skool Newgrounders might remember a lil toon called Star Wars: Lo Mein from a few years back. Very primitively animated.. it was a parody within a parody.. Darth Vader and his Emperor trying to get a table at a Chinese restaurant ala Seinfeld. Daily Feature... Flash Portal History.. it was classic NG and got everyone off my ass after the ass chewing I received for the whole dress up doll thing.

The toon was followed by a not so impressive sequel which somehow managed Daily Second. The final chapter in the trilogy was written on napkins and ready to go... but..

I went to school. Joined the work force. I'd nearly given up making time for drawing, Flash and yes, Newgrounds. Years go by.

Well.. I couldn't stand not finishing the story. I started drawing characters. Backgrounds. Recording voices. NG has evolved a lot over the years so my art had to as well. A few hours here.. a few hours there.. and now I'm in the home stretch... Star Wars: Megaplex 30 is coming very soon!

The Megaplex 30 is a movie theater located on Coruscant. Part of the story demands that the lobby look extremely busy. That's where the contest comes in.

I'm looking for artists who'd like to draw random sci-fi characters to Fill The Lobby.

Alf. Stitch. Alien. Predator. Ming. Wall-E. Mork. Alien Hominid. Whatever. Be obscure. Email them to me and I'll use as many as I can in the movie.
